The Art of Being NAKED

Urban Decay Naked Palette

Ever since I got my hands on the NAKED Palette by Urban Decay, I haven’t stopped using it. What I adore about this palette of shadows is the versitility. Taking your look from subtle simplicity to sultry sexy is all in the stroke of the brush (which comes with the palette and is amaze).

Since I use this palette on a daily, I figured I would share some of my NAKED creations with you. Enjoy a different NAKED look for every day of your work week!

Monday: Toasted Almond Wings
1. Use UD eye shadow primer (this is a “duh” on all shadow applications). Be sure to prime from the bottom of your lid all the way to under the brown bone and inner tear ducts.
2. Apply Buck all over lid and slightly into the crease.
3. Highlight under brow bone and inside corner tear ducts using Virgin.
4. Use black liquid liner to apply wings on lid lash line.
5. Mascara, mascara, mascara!

Tuesday: Pinky Bronze
1. Prime.
2. Apply Sidecar all over lid, focusing the majority on the inner half.
3. Apply Toasted on outter half of lid.
4. Sweep Naked into crease.
5. Highlight under brow bone and inside corner tear ducts using a combo of Virgin and Sin. (that made me “lol”)
6. Using a combo of Darkhorse and Smog, pat outter lid/crease lightly.
7. Mascara, mascara.

Wednesday: Tres-Chocolate
1. Prime.
2. Apply Buck all over lid.
3. Apply Naked in crease.
4. Highlight with Virgin.
5. Use UD’s 24-7 pencil liner in Bourbon to tideline upper lash line.
6. Finish with Bourbon on lower lash line.
7. Mascara.

Thursday: Naughty and Nice
1. Prime.
2. Apply a combination of Sidecar and Sin all over lid.
3. Highlight with Virgin.
4. Use black liquid liner to apply wings on lid lash line.
5. Mascara, mascara, mascara.

Friday: Kardashian-inspired Smokey Eye
1. Prime.
2. Apply Hustle all over lid.
3. Sweep Naked into crease.
4. Highlight with Virgin.
5. Using a combination of Darkhorse and Creep, pat outter lid/crease.
6. Sweep a light dusting of Half Baked on inner half of crease.
7. Finish with…
a. Winged black liquid liner on top lash line.
b. Tideline with UD 24-7 pencil in Zero and line bottom lash line.
c. All of the above, for an over the top “TGIF!!!” look.
8. Mascara, mascara, mascara, mascara!

The possibilities here are endless, obvie. If you have any other ideas for the NAKED palette, please share ’em! I’d love to try something new!

I’ve been wanting to get this palette for a while but can’t seem to bring myself to spend that much money haha.

    • Ly, I promise you it’s sooo worth it! I’ve been using it everyday since July and there are only a few signs of “wear and tear.” A little goes a long way!
