Cut It Out!

No, this is NOT a homage to Joey Gladstone (although I couldn’t help but throw in a Full House reference as the title). My inspiration behind this post came from one of my fave blogs- Cupcakes and Cashmere. Not too long ago the gorgeous and talented Emily showcased a shoulder cut out blouse that I absolutely fell in love with. However, I can’t afford or justify spending $208 on a blouse that is inapropriate for work and only good for play. Not to fear, I’ve scoured the internet to find other options that are more affordable without compromising the same WOW! factor Em’s pick offers.

Here are some other great “cold shoulder” blouses:

MICHAEL Michael Kors Chain Strap Top, was $89.50 now $58.90

This MK top is great for upcoming holiday parties. The chain strap gives it a little something special and makes accessorizing a breeze! Wear with black skinny jeans, nude pumps and a big cocktail ring.

Urban Outfitters Sparkle & Fade Cold-Shoulder Silk Blouse, $69

This blouse is simple but the cut outs give it quite the edge. Pair with eye popping pants or a fun skirt as seen here. This is also a great top to wear running around on the weekend with leggings and some riding boots.

Guess Cici Lace Print Cold Shoulder Top, $69

The lace print detail combined with the cut outs here screams “DATE NIGHT!” This top is the perfect borderline classy vs. trashy piece all women hope to find. Wear with dark straight leg jeans, sky high black open toe booties and a bold red lip.

bebe Cold Shoulder Sequined Top, $89

Here’s another great holiday party option. This one I would wear more out with friends vs. a work party look like the MK top above. Wear with dark jeans, animal print wedge booties and a sparkly lip. After all, girls just wanna have fun!
