Nude + Tangerine

Over the past year or so, the color nude has topped black as my favorite neutral color to wear. I think it has to do with the fact that nude is a soft and feminine color and matches ev-er-y-thing. Nude shoes add the perfect polish to a black dress and lengthen the legs a mile. Nude cardigans offer a chic alternative over blouses while at work. Nude dresses can be accessorized with bright neons to draw the attention to your favorite statement shoes or bag.

One of my favorite color combinations for the upcoming spring season is nude and tangerine. Tangerine is the Pantone 2012 Color of the Year, after all, so adding nude to a tangerine-based outfit is a no brainer.

Here are some of my favorite nude + tangerine pieces that can be mixed and matched to wear together:

BB Dakota Lilianne Elastic Skirt in Tangerine, Revolve Clothing $61

Aw Shucks Top, Modcloth $69.99

J Brand 835 Tangerine Luxe Twill Capris, Bergdorf Goodman $176

Dress, H&M $49.95

2 Lips Too Too Sangria Pump, DSW $44.95

Vince Double Vee Caftan, Bloomingdales $275

Jessica Simpson ‘Halie’ Pump, Nordstrom $88.95

Donna Morgan Pleat Front Kimono Sleeve Dress, Nordstrom $168

POP Nail Glam Pastel Nail Polish, ASOS $11.64

Reed Krakoff ‘Solar’ Sandal, Nordstrom $795

Ugh, I think this color combination is just to die for (those Reed Krakoff shoes! OMG!)! Are you going to wear tangerine and nude this spring/summer?

P.S. Happy Valentine’s Day, loves!
